Here's a gem. Retiring from building diffs and found this buried on the shelf while cleaning out my inventory. I imported a bunch of these from Europe 15 or more years ago.
Price includes shipping within the continental US. I can ship worldwide, but at 125lb packed, it gets very expensive, very quickly.
This thing is spotless. Oil looked brand new, check the cover, I didn't clean it, that's how it came off. When these sit with dirty oil, they stain the bottom half of the cover, often so badly that it has to be bead blasted. Even the gasket came off cleanly and looks near new.
Pinion is tight. Assembly turns smoothly. Backlash is perfect at 0.04-0.06mm
Static lock on the LSD is 105lbft, which is about as close to perfect as you can get.
This is a used final drive but my guess is it has very, very low miles.
I will outfit this with the correct front and side flanges for the vehicle of your choice. It can be used in all E31, all E32 V8 and V12 or E34 540i and M5. It is an upgrade, ratio wise, for a 6spd M5.

Keeping your vehicle in good running order is a prudent decision in these confusing times. There is no telling when or if you may need your car. Have some piece of mind by making sure it's in fully operational condition.
We have appointments available most days. Call or email to schedule. We are maintaining good sanitary practice as noted in an earlier post, in order to provide you with a safe transaction.
Koala Motorsport will be maintaining our normal operating hours for service of your BMW, Porsche, Mercedes and Mini vehicles.
As a precautionary measure during this time of Covid-19 risk, we will be sanitizing your vehicle when it arrives, and again when it is ready for pickup.
Our loaner cars will be sanitized prior to being handed over to you, and again when you return.
We offer a concierge service within 15 miles of the shop. Those who wish to take advantage of this service may do so by requesting it by phone when making your appointment.
We will drop a loaner at your home or office and pick up your car. You do not need to be present to transfer the vehicle, you may simply leave the keys in a prearranged location.
Our driver will sanitize our loaner car as he leaves it, and will sanitize your car before leaving your location. Your car will be serviced, washed and returned. Our driver will repeat the process of sanitizing your vehicle, and ours, during the hand-over. As with pickup, you do not need to be present. All communication, including payment, can be done over the phone.
Our staff will be wearing latex gloves at all times when in your vehicle, not just when working under it. Our office will be sanitized multiple times per day. Your car will be sanitized to the best of our ability. We intend to do anything and everything we reasonably can to reduce your exposure, and ours, to any possible viral contamination. Our staff already know they are not to come to work if they are showing any symptoms. All staff will be fully paid if they are home sick, removing the financial need to "suffer through it" at work.
We will not be allowing customers to wait for their vehicles until further notice. Please take advantage of our concierge service, pick up a loaner, or arrange to be picked up from our facility.
