Smelt are running, we used to have these as kids. Native Americans called them candlefish because you could light a dried one like a wick. Pretty crunchy, mild flavor, whole fish no cleaning, heads and all. One theory as to the orgin of the name Oregon is smelt which the natives called “oolagong” #fishingwithkoerner
The 18mm Angenieux Optimo Prime delivered today and is being sent out on a feature back East. The 18mm Angenieux Optimo Prime is the eighth lens to deliver out of what will be a 12 lens set. The first eight consist of 18mm, 21mm, 28mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm. The rest of the set will fill out in the coming months.
