Every year, KOMAX employees participate in the United Way of Central WV Day of Caring. Non-profits in the region submit to the United Way what they need help with. These tasks are divvied up among the volunteers and off they go! KOMAX worked with Heart and Hand Thrift Store switching out summer merchandise for fall/winter, hanging clothes, moving furniture and getting the place in tip top shape. The 16th Annual KOMAX charity golf tournament for the Make-A-Wish Foundation was a huge success! We had a beautiful day with an amazing number of hole sponsors and were at capacity for golfers! KOMAX is honored to work with Jo Beth Smith at the regional Make-A-Wish Chapter to provide wishes for area children. KOMAX continues to support great causes in our communities. October 15th is the American Heart Association Charleston Heart Walk. It’s a virtual 5K (3.1 miles) that you can track on the Heart Walk app. Just get out there and do your best to eliminate heart disease.
