Neurology is a large, challenging field that is continually evolving. Working in this field allows me to draw on my life-long interest in science, while also giving me an opportunity to build strong relationships with patients.
A vital part of building those relationships is having caring, open conversations with my patients. I listen to their concerns, questions and needs, and I help educate them about their medical condition. These conversations help us develop a close relationship where my patients can feel at ease confiding in me.
By working closely with my patients, I can help them make more informed decisions about their medical care and help them do well despite difficult circumstances.
