With the new storm approaching that has been upgraded to a CAT 4 I encourage everyone to take a minute today and check the deductibles on your homeowners policy. TRICK-OR-TREATING GUIDELINES
Recognizing that Trick-or Treating is not an “official” or governmental activity, but in the interest of public safety, the City of Pineville recommends that this tradition takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2020 beginning at 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
Due to COVID-19, we know that there will be citizens that will choose to not participate in Trick-or-Treating activities. We encourage those who will not participate, to turn off their outdoor lights so children know to not visit that home.
For those who are participating in Trick-or Treat activities, both children and parents and homes passing out treats, we encourage EVERYONE to continue to mask up while enjoying Trick-or-Treating and maintain social distancing.
We also recommend that you look at the CDC guidelines for holidays, specifically their recommendations for Halloween which can be found at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holidays.html#halloween.
