Watt, M.D., is a gastroenterologist (transplant hepatologist) with the Liver Transplant Program within the Transplant Center, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Watt is currently the medical director of the Liver Transplant Program. Dr. Watt provides clinical care for patients with chronic liver disease and end-stage liver disease needing liver transplantation and post-transplant care. Her primary clinical interests include nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD or NASH) research and treatments, obesity management in chronic liver disease, managing debility and weakness in patients with end-stage liver disease, minimizing recurrent NASH after liver transplant, improving long-term outcomes after liver transplantation, including metabolic, cardiovascular and malignant disease.
