Last night between 6:30 and 10 pm someone stole the license plate off our blue Chevy Silverado while parked in front of the fudge shop next to the road. Did anyone see someone messing around the truck? We would appreciate any info that would help us find and prosecute the individual responsible!

Miller’s Creek Minerals & Artifacts have ROCKED Slade! These gems are agates found in KY that are then cut and hand crafted and polished before being hand wrapped by a couple of very talented guys in Estill County (Irvine).
Each piece is unique and you will literally have a piece of KY as a souvenir.
There is so much to see in the Gorge! Plan your visit and include us. We do not take reservations but you can call to see what the wait is. In general, the area is busiest on weekends. Restaurants are busiest around 6. Our outdoor seating area is covered so most guests want to sit there. Be patient. Be kind. Wear a mask and social distance. Enter where the big garage door is. Pay and exit through the gift shop to keep traffic flowing in one direction (for the most part). Thanks for making us a part of your day!

Have you seen our new patio? In April and May we added a large covered patio with 6 garage doors and skylights! The floor is concrete and it's heated! This area has been a huge hit with our customers since opening May 22nd. Cooler temps are beginning to replace the heat and humidity which makes for better hiking in our opinion. We also want to thank our amazing staff! We spend a lot of hours together! They are like our family. We spend more time with them than many of our biological family. They work hard and we don't acknowledge them enough! The next few weeks will be strange for us. They will require sacrifices. Pray for us and our "family". Support us if you can.
