There are any number of things can require you to test your water. Example: selling your home, refinancing, general water quality, installing treatment etc.
If you find yourself in need of a water test and you have an outside party collecting the water sample please make sure YOU know what they should be doing.
There is a procedure that should be followed to obtain the most accurate and representative samples. 💧
