Pianist Frederick Moyer, a frequent performer at Lake Forest Place plays a video-recital from his home in Dover, New Hampshire, especially for the residents of Lake Forest Place broadcast originally live on Lake Forest Place internal television channel. Through Fred's unique tech, you will hear him play solo classical repertoire and jazz standards with bass and drums and you will see his hands (and images related to the music) displayed on the underside of the lid of the piano.

Political science and foreign policy analyst, Gary Midkiff, spoke to our residents via Zoom about America's emergence onto the world stage guided by presidents William McKinley and Teddy Roosevelt.
Via a docent-led Zoom tour, our residents learned all about Sue, the famous Field Museum Tyrannosaurus rex - one of the largest, most extensive, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimens ever found!
Happy Veteran's Day to our resident Veterans! 🇺🇸 In lieu of a breakfast buffet for our Veterans, special breakfast boxes were delivered to all of our veterans and our Veteran's Day program was held over our internal tv channel. Residents John Rosenheim, Don French, and Jim Conner shared stories from their service.
Halloween Wheel of Treats, spooky ginger bread houses, and delicious treat creation demonstrations! Our Cookie's Connections' Halloween special was a scarily, delightful treat!

Lake Forest Place's tradition of remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. brings Dr. King to the residents through his own words accompanied with songs and prayers for courage, justice, brotherhood, and peace.
