As a leader in the addiction treatment industry, we want to be sure we can help those seeking treatment even in a time where there is uncertainty; which is why we have well-established protocols aimed at mitigating the risk of an infectious disease outbreak.
In honor of #RecoveryMonth, we proudly support River Oak Center and their send us your "why" campaign. Their dedication to helping local Jacksonville youth find a fulfilling life in recovery is admirable. We join with them in sharing our "why": Empowering Profound Recovery.

Run 4 Recovery 5K 2020
August 13 at 1:17 AM ·
WE'VE GONE VIRTUAL!
In these uncertain times Runners 4 Recovery and our sponsors feel that the responsible thing to do is go virtual. However, we want the Recovery Community to stay at the forefront of our cause and know that they have not been forgotten, especially in these uncertain times. Studies have shown that alcohol sales have risen tremendously during the pandemic and our cause is more important than ever.
We still want you to have an awesome race experience and are working furiously behind the scenes to get there. Not only will you have swag in your bag and a gorgeous medal (if we do say so ourselves), but we want you to send us your pics before, during and/or after your run and let us know why you are "Running 4 Recovery" and be featured on our Facebook pages.
You can register at https://runsignup.com/Race/FL/Jacksonville/Run4Recovery5km and we hope to see out there.
Thank you Shrinks Chat for having Dr. Lantie Jorandby as a guest speaker on your podcast. The women who come and get treated at our Rose facility are so strong and we are so lucky to be able to help them find their way out of the shame and hopelessness they are living in.

While we are thankful our campus is not in a flood or an evacuation zone, we have taken proactive measures and have enacted our hurricane preparedness plan.
As the hurricane develops, we will continue to post updates to this page to keep our patients' families and referents included in campus happenings. Thank you!

"Lakeview helped me in ways I didn’t think was possible. The classes are amazing – very informative and therapeutic. Mel W. is by far the best person there; she guided me when I didn’t know how to do it myself. I'd HIGHLY recommend Lakeview to anyone looking for addiction treatment.”

"Lakeview changed my life, and not just with the drug use. When I entered Lakeview I was at the end, no hope and no love for myself. Lakeview changed all that – I stopped making bad choices in my life, I shut up and I listened for a change.
Lakeview has the tools to get you through this if you really want it. I can look at myself in the mirror and I am proud of who I see. It is a long road, but the rewards are definitely worth it."

As industry advocates, we must inform and educate others on acknowledging and understanding that substance use is a chronic brain disease and seeking treatment is often the prescribed medication.
