Dentals are not always just about teeth cleaning! Switch came to see us on Tuesday for her dental, and she has a condition called gingival hyperplasia. This condition causes over growth of gum tissue, which traps food and bacteria in the gums. This can lead to bad breath, increased dental tartar, and bleeding. Thankfully with just a little cautery Switch’s pearly whites can be seen again, and she is going to be much more comfortable and healthy from here on out!
