At, Landmark Baptist Church, the health and safety of those who attend our services are of utmost priority. Since we are a smaller congregation and none of our members have traveled or needed to be tested for COVID-19 we have made the decision to have regular services tomorrow. Being proactive in the prevention of the virus we have also cleaned and sanitization the building in preparation for services tomorrow. Please, I f you are sick or feel that it would be detrimental for you to attend services please stay at home and join us via the live feed at http://www.christianworldmedia.com/livechannel/lbcfw The situation that we are facing today is very unique and we won’t minimize that. However, the church has lived through other viral outbreaks, epic disruptions and we able to be a shining light and ray of hope to the community, the state, nation, and even the world. From these events we have learned: First, there is need and purpose in God’s people coming together Secondly, God is still in control, Thirdly, this crisis presents another opportunity for the local church and the Christian to give testimony of God’s goodness and grace. By God’s grace we will see you tomorrow. Bro. Jimmy CHRISTIANWORLDMEDIA.COM Landmark Baptist Church

Dr. Don Davis, co-founder and Executive Director of Landmark Mission Projects and missionary of Landmark Baptist Church went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 8th. His Memorial Service will be Monday, November 19th here at the Landmark Baptist Church. The Service will start at 6 PM. DON'S OBITUARY Celebration of life services for Dr. Don Davis (84) of Haltom City, will be 6:00p.m., November 19, 2018 at Landmark Baptist Church, 1909 Thomas Rd, Haltom City , Tx. 76117. Dr. Davis passed away November 08, 2018 in North Richland Hills. He was born December 31, 2018 to Oard and Gladys Ray Davis in Winters, Texas. Dr. Don and Mary (Nettie) Davis were missionaries in Brazil for 14 years After returning to the USA from the mission field, Brother Davis took the pastorate of Sherwood Baptist Park in Irving, TX. In 1979, the Lord laid on his heart and two other pastors a burden to help train men on the foreign field. The thing they heard most from missionaries was that they did not have the man power to train their people and build local churches. From this burden came the ministry of C.A.M.P., Christian Association of Mission Projects. Brother Davis and the other pastors set up a studio where they could video tape qualified men teaching the Word of God. As these Bible courses were finished, they would duplicate them and send them to Missionaries around the World to help train men on the foreign field. In 1990, Dr. Davis resigned as pastor and became a full time Missionary once again. He was sent out of Trinity Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, TX. They went full time Missionaries running the C.A.M.P. ministry. This ministry not only build the video Bible College materials but also helped missionaries by receiving and depositing their support monies for them at no cost to the missionary. The work continues today under the name of Landmark Mission Projects (L.A.M.P.). The Davis' joined the Landmark Baptist Church in March of 2012 and are missionaries of this church with L.A.M.P. also being a ministry of the church. Since this work was started in 1979, there are now complete Bible Seminary on DVDs in English, Spanish and Portuguese plus a few courses in the Malawi, and Chinese languages. L.A.M.P./ Landmark Baptist Theological Seminary presently has 166 Bible Seminary Extensions in 39 countries and 556 Bible institutes in 67 countries around the world. I received the following email from Dr. Green and waited until I had his permission to share it. Please make the following a matter of prayer: Dr. Green said, "When I had my surgery in Dec. 2006, my Doctor told me the Aortic heart value had narrowed critically. It is called "Aortic stenosis." They told me the implanted porcene valve would be good from 10-15 years. That was about 11-1/2 years ago, I went to my cardiologist Thursday and he informed me the implanted valve was failing. He gave me 2 years to live, but only if I curtailed my activities. I informed the church and I am dropping two of my weekly Bible studies. I will now preach only on Sunday mornings. I think I am too old for another surgery, so I will just continue the best I can and wait for the Lord to call me home. I don't consider this as bad news, but rather good news, because the Bible says "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Dr. Green"
Dear Brethren, I feel impressed to present both an opportunity and a need. The opportunity is to establish a church in Rwanda and the need it the finances to do so. Please read the following introduction and then if the Lord leads please get involved. Dear Brethren, I would like to introduce you to Gideon Munguanipe. I came to know Gideon when he emailed me and asked how he could study and get a degree from Landmark Baptist Theological Seminary. After several emails I found that he did not have any electronics on which he could play a DVD so he could study the lessons. That week someone gave me a DVD player. It was the type that was used for the kids to watch movies while traveling in a car that ran off batteries or a power supply. After an evaluation, I sent him the player, batteries, and the courses that he needed to complete his degree. He was an eager student and successfully completed the degree program with our seminary. During the time he was completing his studies we communicated back and forth. He was very excited when he completed his degree program. One day he told me that God had called him to the ministry and that he wanted to build a church. We communicated more and after being satisfied that Gideon beliefs were in agreement with ours, the Landmark Baptist Church voted to authorize Gideon to start the Grace Landmark Baptist Church in Rwanda. Below is his testimony of salvation and call. Please remember that English is not his first language: “Before I was saved I was A bad man and I was doing a lot of bad things in my life like taking drugs, hated people because most they told to me to change my way and I was n ot able to do it so that when I saw people I feel I can’t talk with them and jealous and lied people in different way sometimes I told them I will bring them something and yet I don’t have it because used to stole things at seller it that time I was on the street but one day I watched the film talked about life of Jesus Christ on the earth And I asked my Pastor his name is (Merci Andre) he was a Pastor of Bible way baptist church How I can become a Christian because I have learned a lot in that film. And one morning in 2012 the Holy Spirit come to me and told me that you have to accept Jesus Christ you have to be saved I’m change your way then I went to see my pastor and told him that I want to be saved. Since that time my life changed I stopped taking drugs, hate and lie people. I baptized in water in bible way baptist church too and Now am person who can help other people to know Christ who saved me through his blood And crucified on the cross. Am now doing ministry for outreach and discipleship in Rwanda (grace landmark baptist church). We have challenges to get where we can worship together as body of Christ, as the law of government says if you have group of people you must have a place to worship together your own church or hall you rent which is cleaned. Because government want to control what we do if we are not trying to betraying the government.” As seen above Gideon is presently meeting with a group of people in one of the towns for Bible Study each week. They have found a building that they can hold church services in each week. Although, churches in Rwanda are facing many challenges in order to worship together as church and obey the laws that the government requires of them. The government requires that a church cannot meet in someone’s house but must have a place to gather for worship. Gideon has found a place that he can rent for $350.00 a month. Landmark is supporting him monthly. However, we cannot provide all that he needs to do the work of the ministry. I am writing this letter to ask for your help with this ministry in Rwanda. The support that we give him provides for his basic necessities, but he needs monthly support to rent the building. Therefore, I ask that you and the church to pray and consider helping Bro. Munguanipe with monthly support as a missionary and church builder. All funds should be sent to the Landmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Prayerfully yours, Dr. Jimmy Nelson
