Project Highlight: Charleston Trade Center is a 787-acre industrial park currently under development near Summerville in Berkeley County. The Center has plans to build several buildings with more than 2.8 million square feet total. Landmark Construction was hired to provide site work for the park’s roadway and infrastructure as well as multiple building pads.
Tilt-up construction is the process of concrete panels being tilted into a verticle position and set on foundational footings to form the external construction of a building. The panels are created on the job site, followed by concrete being poured into the forms, to then be tilted vertically.
