To all our supportive customers,
Due to the horrendous fire East of Springfield, we have temporarily closed our Springfield and Glenwood yards but we will remain open with a reduced crew at our Prairie Road Eugene location. This will ensure our community has a place to take brush, wood waste or other fuel that our community members need to remove from around their homes or other structures, and to ensure our solid waste haulers are able to continue operations and dump their daily collection of wood waste and yard debris.
During this critical wildfire period please exercise extreme fire precaution, below is the Springfield Emergency Order on spark emitting tools and open flame to ensure that we do not create more fires during this critical period.

Autumn is the season where the growing is winding down, however, there is still plenty of garden tasks. There is no doubt this is my favorite season. The air is crisp in the morning and perfect for hiking or working in the garden. The rains have begun and the lush greens have returned, plus more rain means less attention to watering. I am inspired by the brilliant colors around us. I cannot get outside enough to enjoy the fall colors and even with the fires around the state there are still some beautiful areas and gardens that are flourishing.
