September is National Suicide Prevention Month. We learned from one of our own that what's hidden behind "happiness" is darkness. Many hide their depression very well. Sometimes the cheeriest ones are the ones that are hurting the most. Take a moment to reach out to a friend, a family member, or a coworker. Sometimes a simple hello or a "I'm proud of you" will save a person's life. . . . . . . . . . #suicideprevention #suicidepreventionmonth #suicideawarenessmonth #outofthedarkness #mowrydentalfremont #mowrydental #laspositasfamilydental #infinityroses #proudofyou #youareworthit #youarenotalone #thefutureisfemale #shemadeit
We released our August Newsletter earlier this month. Welcome to the team Dr. Mike and Dr. Memon!
We are more than halfway into the year! Due to the pandemic, there’s been a delay in dental care and we are seeing a rise in dental and oral health issues, but don’t worry, we are now available to safely see you! Get quick access to our schedule and book your next cleaning online (link in bio). If you don’t see a time that works for you, give us a call. We look forward to seeing you!
Periodontal disease is the leading cause of tooth loss 🦷. It is a bacterial infection of the gums, bone and surrounding tissues of the teeth. It can be prevented and controlled, but any damage done is irreversible. To prevent periodontal disease, or to keep it from getting worse, be sure to practice good oral hygiene habits and get dental cleanings regularly. Gum disease is often painless and has minimal (ie. bleeding or swollen gums) to no signs, so it’s important that you come in for routine dental check ups. At your dental visit, we check for gum disease using a tool called a probe to measure the natural space between your tooth and gums. Good numbers are 1-3mm, anything higher is concerning. We also will look the color, tone, and firmness of your gums, as well as bacterial load and bleeding. Based on our findings, we will let you know if there is anything more you can do at home to care for your gums, and if more frequent visits are necessary or worse case, gum treatment or a deep cleaning. Thank you @getcocofloss for sharing this fun and informative document with us!
For your reference for future appointments. Thank you for bearing with us as we adapt to our new normal. 🦷
We are so excited to start seeing patients again! Although, it might be a little hard recognizing us with our full gear on 😅. We are now scheduling patients. If we had to cancel your appointment due to COVID-19, expect a call/text from us or better yet, you can call/text/email us or even book your next appointment online (link in bio). We hope to see you soon! 💜

Joyce came in for a cleaning and she stated that she was taller than Kayla. So we all measured ourselves and marked it with tape on the wall. Kayla was the tallest and Alisha was the shortest. Elf got jealous and wanted to see how tall he could be. He found some materials for longer legs and found Meemaws shoes for feet. Yet, he still couldn’t make the cut 😅 #elfontheshelf #elf #happyholidays #christmas #wrappingpaper #dentalhygienist #dentalassistant #livermore #livermorewinecountry #dentalfun
