Lauren C. Das, MD received her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency training in radiation oncology at the University of Chicago, Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology. During her residency training, she served as a chief resident and completed a master's degree in clinical research for health professionals at the University of Chicago, Department of Public Health Sciences. Prior to her medical training, she received her bachelor's degree in biology with a concentration in genetics from Duke University. Dr. Das has participated in a wide variety of research pursuits and is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Brachytherapy Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Radiation Oncology. She has special interests in intensity-modulated radiation therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy, stereotactic radio surgery, brachytherapy, image-guided radiation therapy and other advanced techniques.
