Dr. Lavanya Karri is an integrative family physician specializing in an integrative approach for managing chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery diseases, hyperlipidemia, and obesity. She graduated from Andhra Medical College in Visakha, India. She completed her first postgraduate year family medicine residency training at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio and completed her family medicine residency at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. She went on to complete a two-year integrative medicine fellowship at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, which was founded in 1994 by Andrew Weil, MD.
Dr. Karri’s medical philosophy is to treat the body, mind, and spirit, and to optimize health and well-being by using evidence-based medicine in step with integrative approaches.
