Chase has provided credit card services to our office since 2005. During that time, we timely paid every bill in full. Attention diverted by the pandemic, we missed last month’s bill and then paid two months in full, the day the second bill came. Unconnected to the payment, we later needed to use the card to pay a court entry fee and discovered Chase cut off our privileges until our payment cleared. Spoke to two live people who both said a supervisor would call me in 7 to 10 days. Really?
We did our first remote Will signing last week. We've become ZOOM aficionados !
Small business owners - $10,000 is available from federal government for immediate relief. While called a “loan”, this will not need to be repaid. See https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/coronavirus-relief-options/economic-injury-disaster-loan-emergency-advance
The application is fairly simple. You will need to know your gross from 2019, your bank routing number and account. See

Workers Compensation Claims. Client suffered a serious injury at work - a fall from a ladder breaking both ankles and feet. Insurance company paid immediately.
Upon investigation, we learned that the client was taken by his employer (Company 1) to a property owned by employer under a different Limited Liability Company (Company 2). Client fell working for the benefit of Company 2.
Notwithstanding the law which says you can not sue your employer, we sued and recovered for the Client TEN TIMES the amount he received in Comp, almost $1M!!!
We expended considerable sums on depositions and expert fees; and we had to argue multiple motions in court seeking to dismiss the case; but we prevailed and the client received justice.
All in a days' work.
