NEW ENTREPRENEUR
I’m excited to announce my newest entrepreneur client – my daughter Jennifer!
She’s in the sort of chemical engineering/chemical processing space – otherwise known as small batch granola manufacturing. She has some amazing fresh products including one of my favorites that I haven’t seen anywhere else – Rosemary & Olive Oil Savory granola. You’ll be amazed by the flavor you find in a product that hasn’t been sitting in warehouses and on shelves for months.
See her “shop” at https://www.etsy.com/shop/SweetieBeeBakes
Please give them a try and let me know whether you agree with me that her products are “addictively delicious.”

What Must Employers Do For Returning Employees in the COVID Era?
Here’s a very timely webinar on August 11 at 2:00 PM EDST.
My colleague, Shawn Bernabeu at Insperity, will be moderating a webinar focused on accommodations for, and potential discrimination claims by, employees returning to the office after the COVID restrictions end.
What legal obligations does a business owner or executive have to accommodate staff? And how does the Americans With Disabilities Act come into play? A safe and sanitary office goes without saying but how should a business owner or executive address the other concerns employees may have? What legal options do people have?

Hackers are up to their innovative tricks.
I just saw that my friends at EisnerAmper identified two important security items. They report about the dangers of using public charging stations for Android phones and the latest security patch from Microsoft to make Windows 10 more secure. The latter news re-emphasizes the need to ensure you set your installation of Windows 10 to automatically download and install Microsoft’s updates.

I just participated in a very informative – if chilling – webinar from the NJ Business & Industry Association on how cyber-criminals seek to attack our computer systems. Importantly, it also covers some techniques we can use to fight back.
The presentation comes off a bit like an infomercial but I didn’t mind that because the information is so important.
Take a look at the links below and let me know what you think. Forewarned is forearmed!
