Covid-19 closures severely impact Regal and Cineworld theaters. THEVERGE.COM Bond was the last straw: Regal and Cineworld will reportedly close all theaters in US and UK next week
FYI. Crash course on ConLaw & Legal Construction - US Constitution, Article II, Section 2: the president "... he SHALL nominate ... Judges of the supreme Court ..." Does not say he 'may'. So, when you hear politicians or the media saying the President shouldn't nominate anyone, they want him to violate the constitution for their own political ideology. The Senate's a whole different set of Constitutional obligations.
Were/are politicians too extreme and arbitrary with their Covid-19 responses? If workers in nursing homes can safely go to work, why can't family members safely visit? Has hysteria caused the elderly, sick, hospitalized, depressed, etc., to become isolated in their greatest time of need. Why? AARP.ORG Is Isolation Killing America’s Nursing Home Residents?

Election Law 101: States, not the US Congress, make election laws. Therefore, in the days to come, you may see what appear to be inconsistent court rulings. Not because the courts are inconsistent, but state laws are. You may see a Federal Court of Appeals or US Supreme Court making differing rulings based upon differing state laws. Example: One state may require mail-in votes must be received by 8PM on election day, where another state may simply require they be postmarked and received within 3 days. Don't stress!! Court battles are healthy and mean the system works to protect your legal vote. Turn off the news (I have) and enjoy the weekend. 🙂❤🇺🇸
After the election, remember ...
Dan Kennedy 13News Now February 3 at 10:27 AM · ALWAYS LOCK YOUR CAR AND NEVER LEAVE A CHILD INSIDE UNATTENDED. Chesapeake Police just confirmed it was a mother who left her three month old alone in the car UNLOCKED. That’s when the suspect took advantage of the situation and stole the car. The mother was not there when the car was stolen. This happened at 6:26am at the Wawa on Western Branch Boulevard. **The suspect apparently dropped the baby off 12 MILES AWAY at a location on West Little Creek Road in Norfolk. About two hours elapsed between the time she disappeared and the time we started hearing reports that she was found. **The stolen vehicle was found about two miles away on Timothy Avenue of Norfolk. Police are still looking for the suspect at this time. Thankfully, this story has a happy ending but let’s let this serve as a reminder to NEVER leave a car unlocked and running and never leave a child inside unattended.
