We mourn the death of a #notorious Supreme Court Justice. A woman who not only paved the way for other women, but female attorneys of all walks of life - citizens, immigrants, and women of all colors. We are proud to be five women practicing law in this community. We are proud to be five women serving our community. And we are proud to be five women who are able to enter this career thanks to #rbg.

Judge Halpin, the original owner of our beautiful building, stopped by today! Did you know that there used to be a pool on the property?! And that deer used to climb onto the balcony?! It was an absolute pleasure learning these facts and other bits of history about the place where CCV calls home.
MEET THE TEAM!
The ladies of CCV had their staff appreciation retreat this weekend! It was a beautiful weekend in Napa and we were all able to reflect on how fortunate we are to be able to serve our wonderful community and clients.
Today we had some unexpected visitors! Did you know that the ladies of Campbell, Clark & Vienneau DOUBLE as GOAT HERDERS?! Neither did we! Fortunately, we were able to herd a few of these little fellas off the road so that they did not get run over. We will be looking forward to this #tbt for awhile. πππ
DID YOU KNOW that the State Controller's Office (SCO) administers the Property Tax Postponement (PTP) program, which allows for eligible homeowners to postpone payment of their current-year property taxes?
Per their site, to qualify, a homeowner must apply and meet all of the following criteria for every year in which a postponement of property taxes is desired:
- Be at least 62 years of age, or blind, or disabled;
- Own and occupy the property as his or her principal place of residence (floating homes, and house boats are not eligible);
- Have a total household income of $45,000 or less;
- Have at least 40 percent equity in the property; and
- Not have a reverse mortgage on the property.
If you need assistance or are interested in seeing if you qualify, please visit: https://www.sco.ca.gov/ardtax_prop_tax_postponement.html

See you soon! πππ
π TO ALL OF OUR SHASTA AND TEHAMA MINI GOBLINS AND GHOULS! π
We know that Halloween will not be the same this year and with the fear of COVID cases spiking, it is scary to think about our children trick-or-treating. Weβve come up with a solution to help! π
On Friday, October 30th, our office will be open for trick-or-treaters! We have been following COVID-19 guidelines and will continue to do so on this day. We will have our very own staff distributing candy with masks and gloves on, through our window. No one will be allowed into the building itself. This will allow for your children (of all ages) to trick or treat in their favorite way, while making sure everyone stays safe. Just a little way to say thank you to our community. π
And whatβs even better β we guarantee we will have the BIG candy bars π
(Please note: you do NOT have to be a client to partake in this. Everyone is welcome!)
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! πππ
Thank you to our friends at Stifel for this delicious holiday treat! Not only are they incredible advisors, but they are wonderful people as well. A special thanks to Ann Marie Tyrrell!
