Friends, family and clients! The state health metrics are continuing in a positive, downward trend. All three metrics for Yavapai County are In a good range. Because of the positive trends we are seeing, we are now officially back in our office, seeing clients in person. These metrics are released weekly, and we will continue to monitor them closely.
Thank you for your incredible patience and partnership as we push through this time. We are requiring masks in our office to protect our employees and clients. Our employees are also wearing masks and we are following all sanitation protocols. If you aren’t feeling well please stay home and feel better! If you would like to come in for an appointment we would live to see you! If not, we are always doing telephone or zoom appointments as well!
We genuinely appreciate you all and hope you are well as always!
Yours
Chip McLaughlin and his staff
As we navigate through August we are following the benchmarks given by the Arizona Health Department. We are all working remotely in our office until there is a two week decline in the number of cases or two weeks with new case rates below 100 per 100,00. We are currently at 66. As we see the numbers go down in our community we will start to get back into the office together again. Rest assured we are always thinking of our employees and our clients.
As we say this, we are still working very hard every day for all of our new and existing clients! We recommend using this time to get your estate planning done! Our team at the Law Offices of Chester McLaughlin love working with clients to get all of their wishes in order. We have two Attorneys, two paralegals a secretary and our office manager! Our office is located in the beautiful downtown of Prescott and we also have a location in North Phoenix in a state of the art office.
Please dont hesitate to call and make an appointment, we look forward to hearing from you!
These past few weeks have been challenging for everyone, we hope that you are all safe and healthy amid the COVID -19 pandemic. We feel extremely fortunate to be able to welcome our clients back to our office! As of Monday June 8th, we will re-open our office and resume normal business hours from 8:30am-5:30pm, except the office will be closed from 12-1 p.m. for lunch. As the state of this public health emergency changes from day to day, we will remain focused on keeping our employees and our clients safe, healthy, and informed. We want you to know we are taking every precaution necessary including daily sanitation of all surfaces frequently used, following proper guidelines for social distancing ( 6 feet or more apart) and wearing face masks when meeting with our clients. We strongly encourage our clients to wear face masks as well for the protection of everyone when they come in for an appointment or a meeting that will take more than a few minutes. If they do not have a mask or forgot to wear theirs then the office will provide them with a mask to wear. If a client absolutely opposes wearing a mask then we will honor that, but we will still require proper social distancing and hand washing. Clients and staff should also not come to the office if they are having any symptoms of sickness.
We strongly encourage our clients to schedule meetings to be held telephonically or via zoom whenever possible, but if a client wants to meet in person we will accommodate them. We sanitize the conference rooms and chairs before and after the meeting and ensure that the employees have washed or sanitized their hands before and after the meeting. We also have the luxury of our backyard seating area when weather permits to allow clients the option to have their consultations outside if they prefer.
We look forward to seeing everyone, as we have missed you all! Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

The cornerstone of our practice has always been our care and compassion for our clients and their families. Our mission during this strange time is to accommodate you every step of the way. We feel that this is a very important time to get your estate planning done. In this time of crisis, with the threat of the spread of a potentially life-threatening virus, it is crucial that you think about completing and/or updating your estate plan. The most important estate planning documents for you to have are a health care power of attorney, living will, and a trust and/or a will. The Law Offices of Chester McLaughlin can assist you in getting these documents completed without its staff being physically present with you. We remain open remotely, although our physical office is closed. We are able to complete everything through video conferencing and telephone appointment. We have already completed a couple of the video conferencing appointments this week and we are pleased to say they were very easy. We can walk you through every step of the way. Please call us at anytime to discuss your concerns or make an appointment with one of our Attorneys.
We hope that you are safe and healthy during this time of crisis due to the coronavirus. We want you to know that we are continuing to serve our existing clients and to take new clients. Due to concerns for our clients and staff regarding the spread of the coronavirus, our physical office is now temporarily closed for the indefinite future. However, Mr. McLaughlin and all of his staff are working their regular schedules remotely, and the office is still open remotely during its normal work hours. If you need to drop something off, please put it in our locked top mailbox to the left of the door. If you want to set an appointment with Attorney McLaughlin, or his associate attorney, Julie Martin, or to contact us for any other reason, please call our main office line at
928-443-9934. If you are already a client, you may also e-mail us. We hope you understand, and please be assured that we will reopen our physical office as soon as it is safe to do so.
