Probation in California just changed quite drastically, thanks to Jay-Z & Meek Mill's REFORM Alliance.
Governor Newsom just signed AB 1950 . The new law limits adult probation sentences in most cases to a maximum of 1 year for misdemeanor, and 2 years for felony offenses.

SONOMA COUNTY COURT CLOSURE 9/29 AND 9/30:
Due to the threat of health, safety and injury to the public, employees, justice partners and judicial officers, the Presiding Judge has ordered a court closure. All Sonoma County Courthouses are closed to the public on September 29, 2020, and September 30, 2020, and only open for essential proceedings involving in-custody arraignments to be conducted in Department 9 of the Superior Court.
