It gives me great pleasure to announce that Vince Citro was selected as a 2020 Florida Trend Florida Legal Elite. All in-state members of the Florida Bar were invited to vote on the attorneys whom they hold in the highest regard or would recommend to others. The resulting list represents fewer than approximately 1% of the active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida. It comes as no surprise to me that Vince has made this list again.

A criminal tax investigation can not end any better than getting a letter from the IRS saying that the investigation is closed with no charges being brought.
As a prosecutor, I worked with criminal IRS investigators in prosecuting tax crimes. As a defense counsel, I have had an opportunity to deal with many IRS Special Agents over the years and know them to be thorough, careful, and willing to listen to reasons why a criminal tax case should not be brought.

My father, Martin Horwitz, was in the U.S. cavalry in 1939. He landed on Normandy Beach on June 8th for the Allied invasion of Europe and fought through Europe, including the Battle of the Bulge. As a result of his service, I was honored to be commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army.
