We filed the below lawsuit on Friday, after the Moore Police Department denied several of our Open Records Requests for videos from the body worn cameras of its officers. The assigned Judge issued a mandatory injunction directing Moore PD to provide the requested videos relating to the arrest of one of our clients by the end of day yesterday. It is unfortunate that I had to dedicate approximately fifteen hours of attorney time, predominately after hours and on the weekend, in order to get Moore PD to follow the clear mandate of the Open Records Act and provide these records.
If any of you criminal defense attorneys have encountered the same arrogant disregard from Moore PD, feel free to utilize my pleadings rather than wasting more of your valuable time drafting your own. My staff will provide pleadings in editable format upon request.
