Law Offices of Miller Emis, P.A., an aggressive estate planning/divorce/ custody/criminal law firm, was founded by Robin M. Emis in 2010 after years of working for a number of elite firms in Little Rock, Arkansas. Robin now devotes her practice to estate planning/divorce/custody/criminal law issues throughout Arkansas. She received a Bachelors of Arts in Communication from the University of Arkansas , at Fayetteville, and received her Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Robin served as a Deputy Public Defender for Cleburne, Independence, and Stone Counties before making the decision to focus her efforts on private practice and establishing Law Offices of Miller Emis, P.A. During her tenure as a Deputy Public Defender and criminal defense attorney, Robin was immersed in all aspects of criminal defense litigation from Robin was immersed in all aspects of criminal defense litigation from Class "Y" felonies (manufacturing, distribution, rape, etc) to DWI misdemeanors and drug possession.
Some of Robin’s prior work experience includes: Armstrong Allen, PLLC, where her focus was on employment law, white collar crime and high-end criminal defense; Wilson & Associates, PLLC, where she gained valuable experience in various aspects of high-volume foreclosure/bankruptcy law; and Cook Law Firm, P.A., where she served as the litigation supervisor for Arkansas/Tennessee personal injury litigation for over three years. While at Armstrong Allen, PLLC, Robin had the privilege of working for managing partner Chuck Banks, former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas, whom she credits as being her greatest mentor and the finest trial attorney she has had the privilege of working for.
