I had the privilege of traveling to the Mayan Highlands of Guatemala early this month. Along with a great team of volunteers for K.I.D.S. (Kids International Dental Services) we screened over 2500 children, many of them in pain from infected teeth which required extractions. We educated and gave them fluoride varnishes as well as provided them with toothbrushes.
K.I.D.S. is a great not for profit organization with many selfless and devoted volunteers from all over the map, and I am proud to have worked side by side with them.
