LB GENETICS is an AABB accredited DNA testing facility specializing in paternity testing and other family relationship testing, such as maternity, sibling, aunt, uncle and grandparent DNA tests. AABB accreditation is the most widely recognized certification for DNA relationship testing laboratories and is required by most family courts and government agencies for acceptance of DNA test results. There are only 3 AABB Accredited DNA paternity testing facilities in California and less than 50 worldwide.
LB GENETICS' chain-of-custody paternity tests and family relationship DNA tests are accepted and admissible as evidence by Superior Courts of California and nationwide for family law matters, and by U.S. Federal Courts, the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for matters involving U.S. immigration. Although cheek swab samples are used for most tests, we can also test blood samples, prenatal samples, fingernail clippings, hair follicles, and other biological samples. We have over 100 convenient sample collection locations throughout California and over 1000 nationwide.
LB GENETICS' Director is John Taddie, PhD. Dr. Taddie has over 19 years of experience in DNA paternity testing, has supervised over 150,000 DNA paternity and family relationship tests, and has testified as DNA expert witness in over 50 California civil and criminal court trials. With over 60 years of combined experience, Dr. Taddie and the staff of LB GENETICS are dedicated to helping people with diverse and often very difficult personal situations answer important questions through DNA testing. Because family relationship questions and circumstances can often present special challenges in DNA testing, we take the time to listen to our clients, to understand their needs, to advise them of their options, and to determine the best testing approach for their situation. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is here to help you find the answers and the resources that you need. Call or stop by for a free confidential consultation.
