Calling all fishing hobbyists!
We could use your help to go out to your local pier and reel in some fish!
The pelican, featured below, took its time but we are now self feeding ravenously. Along with a fellow fish eating Great Blue Heron, we are going through about 80$ worth of fish a day!
Fish of about 4-6 inches, alive or dead, will help us keep these patients feed while they under go treatment. Donations can be dropped off between 8am-4pm at the clinic by ringing the door bell. Staff or a volunteer will be up to help you and return your coolers/fish buckets
No amount of fish is to much. We thank you in advance for helping us feed our hungry patients!

At the Wildlife in Need Center, squirrels are frequently admitted year round! In Wisconsin we have four species of ground squirrels and five species of tree squirrels.
Annually, the Wildlife in Need Center admits on average:
-more than 50 Eastern Chipmunks
-more than 25 13-lined Ground Squirrels
-250 Eastern Gray Squirrels
-less than 50 Red Squirrels
-less than 20 Southern Flying Squirrels

Department of Wildlife says that the aggression of coyotes will be on high for the next several weeks.
The next 4-6 weeks is mating season for coyotes. Please pay attention to your dogs, or cats when outside. The outcome can be tragic as they can, and will attack your pets. Coyote breeding typically peaks in late February, and early March. Male coyotes can become more aggressive during this time of year.
