One of the most utilized back movements out there is this narrow grip cable low row. Unfortunately most people are getting a lot of unwanted trap in this. Ideally here you will be getting mainly lat and rhomboid with minimal trap involvement.

Here are a couple of cues to think of:
*Keep torso as upright as possible at the finish of the movement
*Think chest to the ceiling
*Pull from your elbows and finish between hips and bellybutton
*Think wide with your scapulas
*Don’t force the handle all the way to your torso (stop before it leaves your back and gets into your shoulders)
*Dont let the handle speed up as it moves towards your body
