It's been 18 years, today, since the passing of the founder of Len-Co, James P. Coppola, Sr.
"Boss," as he was affectionately called by the team, had a charismatic personality and shrewd entrepreneurial spirit that helped him to expand the company's footprint in South Buffalo despite recessions, out of town competition, and even a major fire in the lumber yard. He was an accomplished artist in his spare time, and his popular Len-Co advertisements in the Buffalo News often included some of his artistic creations (people still ask about the news ads to this day!).
His motto for the company was "Quality for Less." He worked hard, and smart, every day to provide quality products, quality service, and a quality experience at the best prices around.
The team at all Len-Co locations carry on this motto and work ethic to this day. We miss the "Boss," but we will not forget the lessons he taught us as we serve you now and into the future!
