Nevada Film Office August 7 at 11:04 PM · Another example of a production doing it right; professionally and safely. Here are some stills from a shoot for a Vegas based face mask company featuring Larry Thomas (the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld). Here are the precautionary measures they took to ensure a safe set: * Hired a local compliance officer. * Took temperatures at the door * Provided a Covid release that all talent and crew had to sign saying they weren’t experiencing symptoms etc. * Provided all individually boxed lunches for catering and rented extra folding tables to space out eating meals throughout the facility * Asked employees not involved in the production to work from home for the day to reduce number of bodies in the building * Used empty editing suites to space out talent dressing & holding rooms. * Clients watched feed of video village monitors on their own TV from the green room so they didn’t have to be on set with us crowded around our monitors * Since this was a shoot FOR masks, we required that all talent/crew (except the Trump impersonator who doesn’t wear a mask in the scene) wear the provided Boomer Naturals masks for the duration of the shoot day. Their clinical studies have proven them be 99.9% effective in blocking viral pathogens due to their nano-silver technology. * Also worth noting is that when the client approached Levy Production Group they wanted to rent an actual deli or cafe to shoot in and we presented them with a more creative solution to recreate the Seinfeld Soup Kitchen scene by shooting it entirely in our studio over green screen and creating virtual backgrounds. This was a better/safer way to do the shoot as they were able to control the set safety much better from the comfort of their 14,000 sf facility versus a small deli without enough space to spread everything out.
