This 40’ Glulam Girder Truss is the focal point of a Great Room in Carlton, OR. This Doug Fir glulam truss was fabricated and assembled in the Western Wood Structures shop using black powder coated A36 steel, and will eventually support (34) 1 ¾”x12” Glulam Purlins.
This project was designed by Stephen Smiley Architects and Engineered by Lewis and Van Vleet, Inc. Structural Engineers. The General Contractor is Schommer & Sons.
Our Osprey Point Apartments are under construction. Emily Toner is the project engineer for this project and is working with Studio 3 Architecture in Salem. More to come as this project progresses over the summer and fall.
