3. Medicare has 5 parts
Part A= hospital
Part B= doctor
Part C= Medicare Advantage
Part D= Drugs
Part E= Extended Care
4. Most seniors are automatically enrolled in Part A at 65
5. Most Seniors get Part A for free
6. You can get original Medicare benefits through a Medicare Advantage plan
7. Medicare Part D provides prescription drug coverage
8. You can change coverage annually during the annual open enrollment period, as well as the open enrollment period then some qualify for sep(special enrollment periods)
9. Medicare Supplement insurance(not the same as Medicare Advantage) can reduce your Medicare out of pocket costs
