Dr. Mathur specializes in treating overweight and obese children, leading a team of expert health care professionals at her practice, Lifestyle Medicine Center in Stamford, Connecticut. FANS uses behavioral modification and lifestyle changes to help children make healthier choices for themselves, using an interactive curriculum that reaches children of all ages. The program has been a great success in engaging children with physical activity and preventing obesity, thanks to the dedication and expert input of Dr. Mathur.
