Meet Dr. Jennifer Reynolds, who grew up in Spanaway, WA and went on to obtain her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine, or DMD, from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, OR.
Family is very important to Dr. Reynolds. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, especially her high school sweetheart/husband, Jeffery, and their puppy, Wilbur. Her hobbies include riding ATV quads, and going four-wheeling in trucks. In fact, her family has had an annual trip to the sand dunes in Coos Bay, Oregon, every year for over 20 years.
Dr. Reynolds believes that patients should be treated like family. She strives to create a trusting relationship with each and every patient so that they are comfortable in her care. Together with each patient, she finds the treatment that is right for them. Her favorite treatment is education and motivation to provide prevention of infection and disease; thus leading to better health and quality of life for all. She is excited to be part of the wonderful family at Light Dental Studios.

Dr. Judy Yuan grew up in the state of Michigan after immigrating from China at the age of 7. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from The University of Michigan, and is proud to have attended the #1 Dental School in America,
Her dedication to serving her community is also evident in her professional involvements. She travelled with the American Student Dental Association to Lansing, MI and Washington D.C. to advocate for patients’ access to oral care. She also enjoys mentoring younger students and served for two years on the Executive Board of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity’s Chi Chapter. She was awarded the 2015 ASDA National Leadership Conference Scholarship.
Dr. Judy is bilingual, with full fluency in Mandarin and her hometown Sichuan dialect. She spends her free time managing her college admissions consulting business and enjoys photography, travel, and piano performance. She looks forward to exploring the Washington outdoors with her boyfriend and rescue mutt Pepper!

Originally from Idaho, Dr. Vanderpool has slowly been moving further and further northwest. She attended undergrad at Washington State University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Zoology.
While at WSU and UW Dr. Vanderpool made giving back the community a priority. At WSU, she volunteered in community events put on by WSU’s pre-dental club, as well as traveled to Guatemala for a health outreach program. At UW, she continued to participate in community clinics and teaching events promoting good oral hygiene.
During her free time Dr. Vanderpool loves to bake, read, or go explore the city with her husband and two dogs.

Meet Dr. Amit Gharpure, he graduated from Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai, India at the top of his class. After a few years in private practice, he continued his education to complete a 3-year specialty training program in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and earned the Master of Science in Dentistry degree.

He married his wonderful wife Jenny in 2011, and they keep busy raising their 3 children, Allison, Jacob, and a newborn. Dr. Udod grew up in the Pacific Northwest where he earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Washington. He is happily married and has lovely twin daughters Alexandra and Victoria.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing outdoor volleyball, lifting weights, and practicing calisthenics during the summer. During the winter he enjoys snowboarding and ice skating. Dr. Nguyen grew up in Redmond, Washington, and attended Lake Washington High School. He loves to explore the Pacific Northwest and travel with his partner Tori. Dr. Nguyen is also a major coffee fan, before dental school he worked as a barista at a French bakery which helped him develop a love for strong coffee and excellent pastries.

Dr. Christopher Bao Brown completed his undergraduate education at Duke University where he played varsity tennis and afterward played professional tennis on the ATP circuit. The same drive and commitment to excellence he cultivated as a tennis player he applies to his oral surgery practice. Dr. Brown received his dental degree from the world’s first dental school, the University of Maryland, graduating magna cum laude and being recognized for his academic achievements in oral surgery and anatomy. He then completed a rigorous one-year surgical internship at the University of Maryland, including working at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. He went on to the University of Washington to complete his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training. While in Seattle, he received extensive training in the broad scope of oral & maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Brown is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Brown’s main clinical interests include wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, and sedation services. When he is not delivering optimal service and care to his patients, he enjoys playing sports and spending time with his wife Autumn and daughter Lily.
