Incredible drone video of the vigil for tow truck driver John Stewart. This was captured by Jimmy Thomas. Stewart was helping a stranded woman Sunday night when a car hit him as he was getting ready to leave. See his vigil on KMBC 9 News at 10pm.

UPDATE: FYI, for people who want to help, I’m told donations for Stewart’s family can be made at the Citizens Bank And Trust or at GT Towing. Checks need to be made payable to Brooke Stewart. Cash donations can also be dropped off there and designated to go to Brooke.
Yet another reminder to please move over when you see a tow truck on the side of the road.
GT towing in Kansas City lost one of their drivers this morning in a hit and run accident. The driver fled in a black Chevy sedan bearing temporary tags with a partial reading of either 0JV or 0VJ. Please call KC/MO PD if you see this vehicle.
