Here's some good news to share.....the Linn Mar Baseball golf outing is ON for this Saturday for everybody who signed up previously. Registration is at noon and shotgun start at 1:00. Looking forward to a fun filled day that will benefit both our varsity and youth programs.

We hope everyone is hanging in there as our community continues to clean up after last weeks storm. Due to diamond availability we are not able to host our evaluations tomorrow night as scheduled and will look to reschedule for a future date. Apologies as well to anyone who showed up last week (August 11th) for evaluations as we did the best we could to communicate given the circumstances, but know not everyone received the messages. We will be back in touch with information around eval dates, team formations, etc. once we have everything firmed up.

Quick update for those interested. The sleeves for the cage poles are now in place. I know, exciting stuff, but this was the next steps. Once everything is firmed up we can then insert the long metal poles that the net will hang on. Depending on when the net comes in will determine when everything will be ready, but still thinking in a few weeks the extra hitting cage will be up for teams to use.

Exciting things happening at our indoor facility! The installation of our new retractable cage is beginning. First step was for us to cut out concrete and then this upcoming week we will auger out the holes that our metal poles will be placed in. Once the poles are cemented in we will have plenty of support in place to tightly hang the new cage on a retractable system. Our hope is to get this first cage installed by mid January for our teams to use. This cage will bring more opportunities for our players to get live hitting in while providing space flexibility. We plan on getting our permanent net on a retractable system as well in the near future giving us even more space flexibility.
