Lisa Dean, is a journalist, author, public speaker and certified life coach. Whether on radio, television or on stage Lisa finds a way to engage her audience.
She has worked in radio and television on both the local and national level. Her work has been seen and heard on the Morton Downey Jr. Show, PNN, KSBJ radio, and nationally syndicated show The Force, just to name a few.
Having worked as a radio news reporter and mid-day anchor, television host, columnist and freelance writer, Lisa knows the power of words and the impact they can have on a life. Lisa is a published author of the book “Girls of Greatness”, in bookstores nationwide. Now, she has taken her love of writing and speaking and merged them together in a different arena. Her messages are forthright while her delivery filled with humor. “We all need to laugh a little more,” she says, “ and sometimes we need to learn to laugh at ourselves.”
Lisa believes to whom much is given much is expected. She has sat on such boards as The Boys and Girls Club, is creator of “Girls of Greatness” program, a self-esteem building program for girls, a member of Gift of Giving for Global Poverty and AIDS, Partner in Life Spring Women’s Shelter, and also volunteers at her church.
She is Mrs. Illinois U.S. Globe 2005, 2nd runner up at Mrs. US Globe, Mrs. Illinois United States 2006, and Mrs. Illinois America 2008.
Lisa says, however, her greatest accomplishment is her marriage to her husband Dean and her two children Kennedy Ann and Caden
