Springfield Clinic Effingham is now offering drive-up appointments for patients experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Call 217.342.4151 to schedule an appointment. Upon arrival, a nurse or provider will evaluate your symptoms and administer a COVID-19 test if necessary - all from the comfort of your car. Patients must have a Springfield Clinic primary care provider, and appointments are required.

Meet Jennifer Maneja, MD, an internist and geriatrician with Springfield Clinic Effingham. Dr. Maneja grew up in the Philippines before moving to the United States and knew early on that she wanted to be a doctor. Her favorite part of her job is knowing she has helped patients for many years.
Meet David Kowalski, MD, with Springfield Clinic Effingham. While pediatrics and internal medicine can be very serious, Dr. Kowalski is able to have fun with his patients. He also strives to put the patient and their expectations first. "I work for the patient, and those people are the most important thing," he explains.
