History: Litin Party was established by Ned Litin, whose father started the Minneapolis-based paper distribution and converting company Litin Paper, which has been in business since 1967. Don, Ned's father, would purchase old rail cars filled with a plethora of mixed goods. At first it was just a side business to keep Don entertained, but word spread and the customers started pouring in to shuffle through the items. Party supplies were a common product to be available. After seeing the demand of returning customers, Don saw the need to establish a business to cater to the ever increasing traffic. Ned purchased the party side of the business from his family in 1999 and has since developed it into being known as “the Downtown Party Store” which now has its own web presence (partyvalue.com) to cater to customers at the national level. Litin Party prides itself in its product selection and prices, providing any event planner the ability to get everything they need under one roof. Litin Party is open for retail, online, and also has commercial accounts available for businesses. Litin Party is your one-stop-shop!
