Covid-19 impact has been far greater than we could have ever imagined, and not only those who have contracted the virus, which has been devastating.
The viruses protective measures have lead to challenging new hurdles to jump for an already at risk population. It’s negatively effected people’s anxiety, depression, and general ability to cope with daily challenges. The separation that usually addiction recovery combats is now a common contributing factor.
We look to safely continue connection and fight against the sweeping isolation now plaguing the country and our local communities. With people afraid to seek services because of possible exposure, we are encouraging people to continue to reach out for assistance.

Today we stop and remember those people we have lost to Drug Overdose Death.
We honor their families and loved ones that have been left with a hole that is impossible to fill.
We think of the impact they could have made had they been saved and given another chance of life.
Drug Overdose Death is a preventable outcome, despite what some people think. If given adequate access to treatment and prevention drugs like the life saving drug naloxone, It can treat narcotic overdose in an emergency situation, we can reduce more deaths.
With adequate education in reducing stigma and providing tracing of these drugs so people not in the addiction field can respond quickly and possibly save a life. These actions would greatly reduce this number and our countless friends, family, and citizens would still have a chance at life...we all deserve that.
For these things we stop and remember, we tap into their memories and use them for fuel to keep the up the fight to reduce this number one day at a time.

🚨⚠️The day has arrived⚠️🚨
After many months we are opening our newest program and accepting new clients on Monday! Our new outpatient treatment center will provide PHP, IOP, and OP clinical services to individuals in our trusted Structured Sober Living program as well as the public. We will be accepting N.H. Medicaid as well as be in network with several commercial insurances over the coming weeks.
The new program will allow individuals to receive 6-8 months of clinical care while being in a structured environment. Clinical Services, Recovery Foundations and Life Skills will be the focal points of the program.
Our goal is to have individuals functioning to the best of their ability and thriving in a program of recovery. This combination will help launch them into a successful position as they set off on their journey. We achieve this by creating a process that covers almost all needs at this stage of their recovery. Through vocational training, internal medicine prescribing, direct contact and integration with the recovery community, alumni program, and a variety of activities. The western part of the state, and Keene specifically can host a program like this well. It has direct access to natural resources, a busy downtown within walking distance, plenty of employment opportunities and a fantastic Recovery Community!
Here at Live Free individuals will be able to easily navigate the treatment process. The usual gaps that individuals find in the treatment process have already been addressed. One of the biggest is having aftercare that offers the additional support they may need.
Our newest Sober Living home hosts mostly single rooms and three double rooms of which all have a private half bath. This also allows for abilities to to meet Covid 19 needs. Please Reach out today if you need any assistance.

It hasn’t been easy but when we see people walk through our doors and start their journeys towards Recovery it will all be worth it. Progress photos are coming along.
The neighborhood has been amazing and warm, open to forming a calabortive relationship in order to help the community and the individuals coming to this program, while being respectful of the quiet location. The city has worked with us to create this unique program.
All the fantastic team of people that I get to work with putting in long days and nights, without them it would still be a vacant property.

“Watching you testify makes my blood boil,” Rep. Jim Cooper (D-Tenn.) told David Sackler. “I’m not sure that I’m aware of any family in America that’s more evil than yours.”
Watching probably the first Bi Partisan activity, politicians on both sides of the aisle taking shots to hold this family accountable for their role in attentionaly getting people addicted to opioids to profit from their destruction. These were people with legitimate pain, thinking they were taking something safe to later becoming addicted to other drugs when they could no longer get oxycontin.
Millions of people have lost their lives, lost everything valuable, and families have been displaced because of a pharmaceutical company that lied and told everyone it was safe. They created an entire narrative inside the medical field to enforce their messaging. To find emails with marketing strategies that they knew they’d funnel people into their addictive business plans and yet still trying to say they should not be held responsible is a slap in the face to families that buried love ones.
We honor those that lost their lives in the name of pharmaceutical lobbying and profits literally made with the blood of their customers. To the families that will never see their loved ones, please don’t stop telling their story, we all need to hear your voice. 🙏🏻 🙏🏻

A professor gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The professors then mixed all the balloons. The students were given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon. At that point the professors told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes everyone had their own balloon.
The professors said to the students: “These ballons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness....we'll find ours too.
