Our Live Oak team is running low on Newspapers to use in our kennels for our patients. If you all have any old papers lying around we would greatly appreciate the donation! Thank you all for your continued support.
Starting on Fri, July 3rd, we will require a mask or facial covering to enter our facilities, as per Governor Abbott’s order. Curbside service will be available if you do not have a mask or facial covering.
Starting on Wed, May 27, we will allow clients in the building during exams. At arrival, we ask that you remain in your vehicle and call the front desk to check-in. We will call you when an exam room is available. Our staff will be wearing masks, and we encourage clients to wear masks as well. We hope to see you soon!

A technician will come out to you and get a history and all services requested. The doctor will perform the exam and discuss any questions or concerns over the phone & a technician or receptionist will check you out over the phone and then bring your pet back to you.

We have had many calls with people inquiring about how to help with CASA of the South Plains this month, as they are the organization we are highlighting for January. Their specific request was gift cards to either Target or Walmart, so each child may pick something out for themselves on their birthday. Experience Required. We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician to provide top notch patient care during our overnight shift. Responsibilities include:
-monitoring patient vital stats
-administering medications (PO, IV, IM, etc.)
-completing vet orders throughout the night in a timely manner
-running lab-work
-completing basic maintenance tasks (laundry, changing bedding, etc.)
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and time management. This person will need to be reliable and self-motivated to complete job responsibilities. Holidays and weekends will be required. Patient care is our top priority.

Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Make adjustments and minor repairs
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations

Experienced Veterinary Technician
We are searching for a part-time technician with small animal experience. We prioritize patient care and customer service above all else.
Required skills include:
Animal restraint
Drawing up vaccinations
Blood draws, cephalic and jugular
Catheter placement
Familiarity with surgery and in house diagnostic equipment
Ability to educate clients about preventative healthcare and routine procedures
An understanding of communicable diseases and management/prevention of spread
We are a team-oriented clinic, and value employees who are able to work with others and communicate clearly.
