Serving all patients and family members with labor and delivery privileges both at Marin General Hospital (MGH) typically for low-risk patients and VBACs and California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) for the high-risk moms. Both doctors cover the emergency room at Novato Community Hospital and use the Marin Specialty Surgery Center for their outpatient minimally invasive surgeries.

They work closely with women at all stages of their lives providing women education, support, nurturing care, and to help patients make the best choices for their own journey. To that end, they offer a wide range of integrative services and access to an extensive referral network. Lizellen La Follette MD, Inc. works collaboratively with many providers, including perinatologists, fertility specialists, acupuncturists, endocrinologists, doulas, chiropractors, urologists, psychotherapists, and others. Unlike other practices, Lizellen La Follette MD, Inc. does not sign out deliveries, they attend their patients’ deliveries in both Marin and San Francisco.
Dr. La Follette was recently honored in France for her visionary global work in women’s healthcare, and for her support of the comprehensive ‘Etincelle Montpellier Cancer Retreat Model’ which she is helping to bring to the US.
From June 2015 to December 2015, Dr. La Follette served as a medical advisor to Clue, a German-based startup of the number one rated (2016) menstrual tracker app. She was a co-author of the initial data that was presented as a poster session at the 2016 national ACOG annual conference. She is currently an advisor to the March of Dimes, participated in their 2016 Conference and will speak at the organization’s 2017 Annual Conference. She holds complimentary patient learning events at her practice once a month.
