About

The Lloyd Dermatology Center offers the widest range of skin treatments between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The doctors and staff are dedicated to providing the latest knowledge and technology to the management and treatment of the skin problems of children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Jenifer Lloyd has been extensively trained in dermatology, internal medicine, and advanced skin surgery, as well as the latest laser techniques. The laser services available at the center can correct or improve many skin defects and significantly modify the skin’s visible signs of aging. In some cases, the “Mirror Image” computer photography system will be used to document “before and after” photos.

One of the practice’s greatest strengths is in its surgical expertise, managing both benign and malignant lesions of the skin. All surgeries are done in the office.

In addition to standard dermatological services, the Lloyd Dermatology Center also offers an on-site PUVA center for the treatment of severe psoriasis and dermatitis. Several cosmetic procedures are also available for the improvement of skin appearance and texture.

Does this picture look familiar to you? It’s normal to sweat when you get nervous or too hot, but if you sweat for no apparent reason, you may have hyperhidrosis. Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition that causes excessive sweating, often affecting the palms, feet, underarms, and head. Nearly 7.8 million individuals, or 2.8% of the US population, suffer from hyperhidrosis. Treatment options? Treatment depends on the type of hyperhidrosis and where the excessive sweating occurs on the body. Common treatments include prescription cloth wipes, prescription medications, and Botox. #lloyddermatology #lloydderm #cosmeticdermatology #laserdermatology #goodskinsquad #healthyskinisin #wetreatthat #botox #hyperhidrosistreatment #dontsweatit #youngstowndermatology #qbrexzawipes
What is Rosacea? Rosacea is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition that often appears as redness on the cheeks, chin, and forehead. Rosacea affects an estimated 16 million people in the United States, or approximately 1 in every 10 individuals. Rosacea can affect anyone, but is most common in middle-aged women who have fair skin. Although there is no cure for rosacea, treatment can help control and reduce the signs and symptoms. Common treatments include topical medications to reduce redness, oral antibiotics, and laser therapy. #lloydderm #lloyddermatology #laserderm #laserdermatology #rosacea #rosaceafacts #personalizedskincare #privatelabelprescriptions #prescriberschoice #youngstownderm #goodskinsquad #healthyskinisalwaysin #wetreatthat
The “𝗕𝘂𝘇𝘇 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱” in beauty is 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱. If you want smoother, softer, plumper skin, you need to insert 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱 into your skincare routine. 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱 can be found in everything from sheet masks to injectables on the beauty market. 𝗛𝗔 is a substance found naturally in our skin that holds water and helps keep it hydrated and plump. When used in skincare products it helps to hydrate and soothe. A nice perk of 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱 is that it pairs well with most other skincare ingredients like retinols, peels, and acids. 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱 can also be found in injectable fillers like Restylane and Juvederm. These brands use a gel form of 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱 to add volume to the dermal layer of skin. 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗶𝗱 gel can add volume to sunken areas, smooth fine lines, and decrease shadows, then will slowly dissolve over the course of one to two years. #lloydderm #lloyddermatology #cosmeticdermatology #laserdermatology #goodskinsquad #healthyskinisalwaysin #personalizedskincare #youngstowndermatology #dermalfillers #skinbasic #hyaluronicacid #restylane #kiuperks #membershipperks🙌
