February is National Gum Disease Awareness Month: These photos show the teeth of a patient with years of plaque buildup (tartar) and bacteria. In the after photo, ((WOW!)) you can see how our hygienist was able to remove the buildup from the surface of the teeth and from below the gum line, reversing the beginning stages of gum disease.
