February is Gum Disease Awareness Month!
Here are some tips to prevent Gingivitis and Periodontal Disease:
⚫ Brush your teeth for 2 minutes at least twice a day
⚫ Floss Daily
⚫ Visit your dentist every 6 months
Warning signs of gum disease:
⚫ Red and swollen gums
⚫ Bad breath
⚫ Tender or bleeding gums
⚫ Receding gums, longer appearing teeth, and/or loose teeth
Please see your dentist or hygienist immediately if you're experiencing any of these symptoms. It's best to investigate and treat these conditions as early as possible to prevent them from worsening. 😁
