Lone Mountain Contracting Gives Back
Lone Mountain Contracting has awarded Tyler Kiehne with a $1,500 scholarship for him to attend UCLA.
Tyler Kiehne, Los Lunas High School defensive lineman, has committed to UCLA. The announcement was made on Kiehne's Twitter on Saturday. Kiehne helped the Tigers reach back-to-back state finals the last two years. He picked the Bruins over dozens of offers from the Pac-12, Big 12, Big 10 and Mountain West.
“We want to give back to our community and encourage young people in all sports to pursue their dreams,” said Nick Blea, Owner.

Nationally Recognized Sports Builder to Re-Finish NMSU Track
It has been so long since we have come together to watch/play our favorite sports. This year when we gather again at the New Mexico State University track it will have a “facelift” thanks to Lone Mountain Contracting.
Nationally recognized Lone Mountain Contracting has been awarded the contract to re-finish the NMSU track. “We are very excited to be returning to NMSU and enjoy every opportunity to support Aggie Athletics. Our NMSU baseball field renovation project was a fantastic experience, and we expect the track renovations to be just as successful. Being an alumna myself, I always take a little extra pride in making sure our Aggies have top notch facilities to excel in. Go Aggies!” Tessie Emond, Vice President Lone Mountain Contracting.
