Car collisions are stressful, even ones that do not result in physical injuries. Here are a few things you should do immediately after a car collision:
1. Check for injuries and call EMS if needed,
2. Remain calm and do not admit fault or apologize to the other parties.
3. Call the police to make a collision report.
4. DO NOT move your vehicle until the police arrive and if you can, take photos of the collision scene and damage to BOTH vehicles.
5. Get the name address and phone number of the other driver and any passengers and witnesses.
6. Get the insurance information from the other driver.
7. If you do not go to the hospital by EMS, and later experience increased pain, go to the ER immediately to get checked out.
All Kentucky residents, please take 2 minutes to leave a message for your Senator opposing SB 121 as this bill negatively impacts all Kentuckians who may be injured in a car wreck. The bill would make it more difficult to obtain treatment and easier for insurance companies to deny valid claims.

Step 3 Give them your name & address so they can locate your Senator
Step 4 Say, “Please tell Senator ______ that I oppose SB 121 and that he/she should vote No.”
