Looking For Group - Honeycomb Credit
LFG is happy to announce that we are working with the South Hilltop Men's Group to help build out our new space in Brookline. We think helping community organizations that match our beliefs is important, and so we are doing it the best way we know how.
If you are unfamiliar with the South Hilltop Men’s Group, they are a non-profit that provides job training and employment to people of color who are facing barriers to employment. They do this by running their own construction company that employs the people they train.
LFG is excited to help SHMG to launch the next phase of their construction business, asbestos remediation services. LFG is proud to be their pilot customer, giving them the time they need to let their very experienced leads work with their newly certified employees to get much needed experience. “ The mission of South Hilltop Men's Group is to rebuild and empower the South Hilltop communities and its members and we are grateful when we get the opportunity to work with like-minded organizations like Looking for Group,” said Jmar Bay and Chris Nowlin.
Along with asbestos, the South Hilltop Men’s Group is performing demo and construction work throughout our building. We are also hoping that they will be available when we get to phase 2 and phase 3 of our build out.

It's been a lot of work, but we're starting to get to the middle of the first of the final stages of the beginning of the center.
Here is some flooring we were laying in our coworking area. Once it is down and stained, we will be able to finish the last of the framing in the whole building.
We miss everyone, but because we have to be closed for everyone's safety, we're building out more than we originally planned. It'll be great to see you all when we can.
Maybe we can play a game together. Or agree on the objective best walls put up by Edd that have misplaced studs. Or talk about how good Logan was. Or just slide around like penguins on ice on the new wood floors we're putting down.
